It has been one year since the diagnosis that changed my life! I cannot help but think of all the days that I spent with my mom as she bravely fought Brain Cancer. All the moments that I was able to get the thumbs up or a wave. I would do it all over again without even thinking if that meant that I could have my mom, my life as I knew it back!
I love you mom! You are my hero!

Majestic Serenity
A mother’s love is everlasting and pure
Always watching over us, to that you can be sure
A mother’s love is blind to our faults
Always protecting us from any harmful assaults
A mother’s love goes beyond the here and now
Always giving her all, giving up all that she can allow
A mother’s love cannot be exchanged or compared
Always giving of herself, just as the Lord has prepared
The Lord guides a mother’s hand
The Lord laid the path she must walk
The Lord whispers to what she must hear
The Lord reveals the things she must see
The Lord takes us to his side on a given day
The Lord has prepared this path for Adele
Adele leaves a family full of strength and love
Just as HE has shown her through the path HE has sewn
Do not weep for she is not gone
But lives within you just as HE has all this time.
It has been a little while since I have posted on mom's blog! The Brain Cancer Awareness Walk that my family and I have been talking about ever since Mom's received her diagnoses is coming in a couple of short months. On October 17th, we will be walking to raise awareness of this horrible disease and in memory of my beautiful mother who is missed so very much!
